Fabulous news for property buyers in 2021.
Andalucia has reduced the transfer tax payable when purchasing a property to 7% until the end of 2021. Previously buyers paid anywhere from 8%-10% tax depending on the purchase price of the property but this new measure from the Junta de Andalucia provides big savings all round.
For example if you were buying a villa for 800.000€ your ITP would be reduced by a whopping 13.000€
We've made some lovely phone calls to our buyers this week to inform them of the savings, needless to say we made their day.
The discount applies to all resale property purchases completed before 31st December 2021 so this year is the year to buy if you want to take advantage of the offer...better in your pocket than the tax man's!
